After operating a retail business that was acquired by his grandfather in 1997, Abdul Salam Food Industries has begun to identify ways to grow its business including being the
first to provide coconut milk delivery service to food and restaurant outlets. Abdul Salam Food Industries, a name synonymous with coconut milk in Penang, we trade businesses
with more high tech products such as coconut oil and dodgers.
Abdul Salam Food Industries has been able to penetrate the wider market and become a leading distributor of coconut milk in the Northeast District to the Southwestern District of Penang. Abdul
Salam Food Industries has successfully monopolized almost 70% of the coconut market in Penang.
In 2010 Abdul Salam Food Industries managed to increase its business to RM1.5 million a year compared to the previous year which made only RM260,000 a year. The impressive growth
has been the result of Abdul Salam Food Industries' persistent efforts and more efficient and effective use of modern technology.

We import our coconut from indonesia and we supply the raw material to other countries such as India, China, Vietname, and Thailand.
